Can anyone tell me how I should go about resetting the new package timestamp for 'pkg_update -Ln'?

It seems that the installer missed a few things when I was having my previous installation/update issues. I just want to make sure I have everything and all the packages are up to date. TIA

In the /var/db/pkg directory there is a file named ".lastnew" that will appear
the first time pkg_update is run with the '-n' option.
The format is YYYYMMDD. You can adjust this date or remove the file.
If the file is removed a default internal date will be used that varies
with the version number of pkg (the current default date is 20060601
to allow for some "reachback").
