Hello,
I have a problem with user name mapping on Windows 2003 server.
When I try to access the NFS mount, I have the message :
"NFS lookup failed for server xxxx: error 7 (RPC: 1832-010 Authentication error)"
If I allow anonymous access (with UID and GID 0), I can access it and create file, but all files belongs to root.
I create 20000 windows users and 20000 windows group and create files /etc/password and /etc/group that contain all these users and groups.
Then, I activated simple map and SFU created the mapping for all the users and group.
But, when I try to access the NFS mount, SFU believe this is an anonymous logon !
Do you have any idea ?
Best regards,

Is the server name and client name getting resolved in the DNS lookup?
Check by name and by IP.

DNS lookup is OK and reverse DNS lookup too.
