We have loaded the MS Windows Services for Unix 3.0. We are using the Interix Utilities, in particular the remote shell.
When I look at the Event Viewer we have a warning message in the application log:
Event ID: 13
Source: Interix
Description: The Status value 0xc0000236 was converted to EACCESS. This is not serious but please inform your administrator that it occured.
I have no idea what this message is about does anyone?

The NT kernel (and it is still the NT kernel on 2000 and XP) has it' s own error codes. When they happen for an Interix process the Interix subsystem/kernel maps these NT error code to Unix error code.
This code is STATUS_CONNECTION_REFUSED (0x00000236).
Likely someone tried to access a drive that is normally mounted but is currently disconnected (i.e. the machine serving the drive is off).
