Ghostscript version 8.14 is now released in binary form and is available as a package for Interix 3.5.
You can install a copy using pkg_add:

pkg_add ftp://ftp.interopsystems.com/pkgs/3.5/ghostscript-current-bin.tgz

There were no source changes from the original code. This is a vast improvement from earlier version of Ghostscript FWIW. The sources will be posted in a short while. Links from the web site to the ftp site will also happen in a short while.

The description:

gs  - Ghostscript (PostScript and PDF language interpreter and previewer)
The  gs  (gswin32c,  gswin32,   gsos2)   command   invokes
Ghostscript,    an    interpreter    of   Adobe   Systems' 
PostScript(tm) and Portable  Document  Format  (PDF)  lan-
guages.
