zsh 4.0.9 is now released.
The binary version is available now for installation using pkg_add:
pkg_add ftp://ftp.interopsystems.com/pkgs/3.5/zsh-4.0.9-bin.tgz

I had been trying to get an earlier version going but there was a problem with globbing. Turns out the problem was with zsh and the current version fixed the problem.

Sources will get posted later this evening.

zsh - the Z shell
Zsh is a UNIX command interpreter (shell) usable as an
interactive login shell and as a shell script command pro-
cessor. Of the standard shells, zsh most closely resem-
bles ksh but includes many enhancements. Zsh has command
line editing, builtin spelling correction, programmable
command completion, shell functions (with autoloading), a
history mechanism, and a host of other features.

I missed adding the script to the package to place the line:
/usr/local/bin/zsh

to the " /etc/shells" file. Doing this allows for chsh to be run so you can specify zsh as your default shell.

You can do it manually, or you can use the updated zsh package.
pkg_add ftp://ftp.interopsystems.com/pkgs/3.5/zsh-current-bin.tgz
or
pkg_add ftp://ftp.interopsystems.com/pkgs/3.5/zsh-4.0.9.1-bin.tgz

If pkg_add is used it will uninstall the older version and then install the new version. It' ll be faster to change the " /etc/shell" file than do another install. Anyone trying to use 4.0.9 will automagically get 4.0.9.1 now.
