Hi,
I am facing some problem in installing DBD-ODBC 1.09.While running the "perl Makefile.PL" script it is giving the follwing error-
"The DBD::ODBC module needs to link with an ODBC 'Driver Manager'.
(The Driver Manager, in turn, needs one or more database specific ODBC drivers.
The DBD::ODBC module does _not_ include any ODBC drivers!)
You need to indicate where your ODBC Driver Manager is installed.
You can do this ether by setting the ODBCHOME environment variable
or by runing 'perl Makefile.PL -o odbcdir'.
If you do not have an ODBC Driver Manager you can try building
the free iODBC Driver Manager in the iodbcsrc directory."
I am not sure whether i have ODBC Driver Manager or not.How to check for it and if i need to install which one will be best for me.I also haven't set the env variable required DBI_DSN,DBI_USER,DBI_PASS,ODBCHOME. How to set them i also don't know.

Hi Harsh,
Is ur Installation complete or you still are facing the problem.
I am installing DBD 1.03 on Solaris 8 with perl 5.00503 .
Can you help me with building makefile error "language depend not recognized" for gcc compiler
