Using the Interix telnet server, is it possible to have it mount an NFS drive at boot time (or from a script in /etc/rc2.d)? The mounted drive would need to be usable by everyone who has permissions on the UNIX server. i.e. the Interix user has an UNIX account and that UNIX account has permissions on certain files.
If so how? I' ve tried to set up User Name Mapping configured with PCNFS (since we don' t use NIS). I' m connecting to a SCO OpenServer system that uses shadow passwords. I' ve included the passwords from the shadow file into the passwd file that I' ve installed on the Interix server. And so far I haven' t been able to mount an NFS drive without specifying a password on the mount command.
