In previous versions of Solaris I used a pcnfsd package downloaded from sunfreeware.com. I have recently ugraded to Solaris 9 and was wondering where I would find an updated version of pcnfsd, or is there something else that I should be using?

Well, if you're using a Windows machine that is 2000 pro/server or 2003 server or XP Pro
then you can use the SFU NFS client. You'll get better performance and behaviour.
SFU is a free download from Microsoft now. If you don't already have it you can
download it via http://www.microsoft.com/windows/sfu
