I haven't see this message myself. But the usual Microsoft question to ask is:
Did you try a reboot ?

I did. Even I uninstalled SFU, and turned firewall off before reinstall it again. I don't know how to insert image capture in this post. However, it was the warning dialog from "Microsoft Internet Explorer".
Thanks for your post.

Looking at your first posting you wrote that you tried to configure the NFS Server
through Service Manager.
The correct way is through the SFU Administration Panel.
From the menu Start -> Windows Service for UNIX -> Services for UNIX Administration
Then select the "Server for NFS" in the left panel. Now click the "Server Settings"
in the right panel.
In a similar way from the the same SFU Administration Panel you can choose to control
the Win32 Telnet server.
Note: that there is also an Interix Telnet daemon (server) that is the Unix version with real pty's, etc.
that you can run instead of the Win32 version.

Hi,
This is the problem I had when I used Start -> Windows Service for UNIX -> Services for UNIX Administration. Every time I click on the left panel to do the setting. It prompted the warning dialog said about WMI service. After I clicked OK button, there is nothing to work.
I think I must clean the registry key after uninstall it. I don't know where exactly SFU registry ?.
Thanks

HKLM\Software\Microsoft\Services for UNIX
On the CD or the extracted, downloaded image, look in the directory "manage"
for the executable "sfuclean.exe" and run it after an uninstall. This should
make sure things are cleaned up.
