Announcing fetchmail version 6.2.5.2 for Interix.
This version is an update to fix a potential security problem when the
POP3 option is used to collect mail. If the POP3 server is being run
by a rather nasty individual who sends a rather large UID this can cause
a DoS instead of getting the mail.
To update/install do:
pkg_update -L fetchmail
Note: You can still use pkg_add but we are trying to wean users
over to using pkg_update for the multiple platform support in the
upcoming future. thanks
