Announcing qpopper (aka 'popper') version 4.0.8 for Interix.

This is a minor update from the previous version.

To update do:

    pkg_update -L qpopper

Note: You can still use pkg_add but we are trying to wean users over to using pkg_update for
the multiple platform support in the upcoming future. Thanks.

This is a security message for those interested WRT the qpopper package.

A root exploit using the utility poppassd was recently posted against FreeBSD and Linux systems.
The poppassd utility can be built as part of qpopper.
The /Tools qpopper binary package is not vulnerable to this root exploit (nor was Interix before)
because the utility poppassd is not included in the distribution.
The default source build on Interix does not build and, hence, does not install poppassd.
