Announcing clamav version 0.87 for Interix.
This is an update to the previous release (details below).
You are always encouraged to update to the most current release since this
is anti-virus software.
Thanks again to Brian Reiter for maintaining the ClamAV build.
To update/install do:
pkg_update -L clamav
Note: You can still use pkg_add but we are trying to wean users over to using pkg_update for
the multiple platform support in the upcoming future. Thanks.
Brian's notes for this release are:
Release Notes:
V 0.87
* Interix-specific fix
- clamd(8) will SEGV inside of BIND code when configured with the
"TCPAddr" option when a client invokes the STREAM command. Do not
use TCPAddr to control access to the clamd socket, use IPSec
policy, Windows Firewall or similar mechanism to control remmote
access to clamd, instead.
