We are using Interix 3.5. I believe this is an Exceed issue. But I am not sure how to
talk directly with the folks there.
We are seeing a color flip issue only on Exceed on Demand (EOD), running 5.0. We do not see the same issue
when running Exceed 11.0 going to the same host. We did see the color flip issue running Exceed 10.0.
When we installed Exceed 11.0 the issue went away on that host.
system info:
client box:
Windows 2000
Exceed on Demand (EOD) 5
Exceed 11.0.0.0
Intel Extreme Graphics card
server box:
HP-UX <sername> B.11.00 A 9000/782
8-bit graphics card (shouldn't matter... right? we are connecting to a windows box)
The RGB mask from EOD 5.0 is opposite from Exceed 11.0
If you compare the xdpyinfo from both machines that are running a shell
while remotely connected in from a windows client (see above specs)
the red, green, blue masks are opposite, in the R and B are flipped.
My take on this is that the fix that went into Exceed 11.0 from 10.0
has not been put into Exceed on Demand 5.0.

I am working with Hummingbird directly with this incident. This may be
a configuration problem on our part. Also, we may not be using the same
binary as the people at Hummingbird, we are using the eval versions
downloaded from their site, and not the CD media delivered.
