I have a clearcase installed on my windows XP machine. ClearCase views are located on UNIX servers and imported (through synchronize region) to the windows XP machine as drive letters. From the 'ksh', I cannot cd to any of the mounted VOB directories (it says permission denied) and when do 'ls -l', it says "<VOB Name> - No such file or directory". If I do 'ls' only, then it displays the entry for the "VOB Name".
Has anyone ran into this problem? What's the resolution?
thanks in advance for all your help.

The ClearCase view (driver) is not providing all of the information that it should.
The driver isn't written correctly and therefore it is not returning information
needed by the stat() call that is used by Unix programs.
It's been a known Clearcase problem for several years now. They don't seem to want
to fix it. Other members in the forum who use ClearCase have reported the problem
to IBM. But you'll need to complain to IBM to get it fixed.
