Howdy all--
I'm so close to the mountaintop I can practically taste it. What I am trying to accomplish is have users be able to SSH into a Win2K3 server, and use MySQL 5.0 interactively. I am trying to complile the MySQL 5.0 (client) source inside Interix, and have it talk to the Win32 MySQL server process.
I have successfully done this on my laptop--a single-CPU WinXP Pro machine. I complied MySQL 5.0 "--without-server" and I can use it to talk to the Win32 mysqld.exe (log in, run queries, add/drop tables, etc.). However, trying to compile it on the dual-CPU Win2K3 box results in an immediate memory fault and crash.
For the record, DEP is off. I would call MS for the POSIX hotfix but I just blew away and reinstalled SFU completely. This should already have the hotfix . . .
Any help?
Peace
