Probably HP openview. However, it all depends your needs. Most common software may not suite your needs.

In my case, we used to use openview. Then we switched to a tool called Sysuptime ( http://www.ireasoning.com/sysuptime.shtml ) to monitor the servers and network devices in our networks. It works pretty well and quite affordable. You can check it out for yourself.

Justin,

It kind of depends on what all you want to monitor and how much you want to spend. HP OpenView is nice, but it is expensive and does all sorts of things.

If you are good with Linux then I would suggest Naggios. Nagios is an open source solution that is very flexable and powerfull (and free!). You can check it out here: http://www.nagios.org/ I use Nagios and monitor about 4000 different devices currently and it works very well with full SNMP support.

Also good is IPSwitch What's UP Gold. http://www.ipswitch.com This is nice if you dont want to spend a lot, but have good monitoring capability and good tech support. Tech support is lacking with open source projects, but hey you get what you pay for. ;) Depending on how many devices you want to monitor it gets more expensive. I think I got a 500 node license for around $2500 once from them. Not to bad compared to OpenView, and it will let you monitor those key Servers, switches, wireless APs, etc.

Nagios is one of the most popular *nix-based monitoring tools.

ServersAlive is another, although not quite as featureful.
