Announcing grep version 1.2.
Yes, grep 1.1.1 was just released yesterday, but...
This release has two important differences.
1) The manual page has been updated to list all of the long options
that are active. They were active in 1.1 and 1.1.1 but not listed
on the manual page.
2) The recursive option has additional filtering capabilities now.
You can include and/or exclude files with a particular pattern and/or
choose files of just a particular type. This last one, type, is the
same as the "-O" extension added to ls several month ago.
Details in the manual page.
To update:
pkg_update -L grep
