Is the unixODBC package distribution on interopsystem is threadsafe or not ?
Our server app ( a multithreaded app ) is using unixODBC bridge that is available from interopsystem site. It is consistently crashing in SQLTransact call.
Is this unixODBC package is THREAD_SAFE or not ??

I'll have to check with Nick (who did the build) and get back to you.

Hi rodney,
I think it was not. because my pthreaded app was consistently crashing in parallel db operations.
I built the new 2.8.11 with thread switch and it rocks!!!
I think it will be useful for other ppl.
we are using later 2.8.11 ( thread-safe ) with mysql (latest) driver with it.

I heard back from Nick and he was not sure.
Glad you could resolve it.
