Hi there !
Interesting forums here. :-)
Now the question:
We have to install SFU NFS server on WXP porfessional and mount the shares from linux clients.
On WXP, the NFS server does not accept wsizes > 8192 with UDP.
Running on a W2K3 server it does accept up to 32768 with UDP.
What's the difference and why do we have this restriction ?

Here are some ideas.
Is the W2K3 plain W2K3 or is it W2K3/R2 ?
The version on W2K3/R2 has changes from W2K3.
You could try getting the most recent hotfix for NFS and see if that changes things.
The other may be performance: bigger doesn't always mean faster.

The Problem is on WXP, not on W2K3 Server.
And wsize is not read buit write size...
