Hi,
I'm having a little bit trouble to install the Interop Tools. I'm getting errors with every package i want to install.
For Example bash:
$ pkg_add /dev/fs/C/bash-current-bin.tgz
pkg_add(bash-current-bin): tar extract of /dev/fs/C/bash-current-bin.tgz failed!
pkg_add(bash-current-bin): unable to extract table of contents from `/dev/fs/C/bash-current-bin.tgz'
Is this a Package, or a simple .tgz archive ? See tar(1).
$
It's no difference from which location i try to install it. I get the same error every time.
When i want to install software directly from the FTP-Site i get:
$ pkg_add ftp://user:pass@ftp.interopsystems.com/pkgs/3.5/bash-current-bin.tgz
pkg_add(bash-current-bin): unable to open table of contents file `+CONTENTS' - not a package?
$
If you need more information feel free to ask :)
Thanks so far
Christian

Which version of the Windows OS are you running?
It may be that you have to turn DEP off (FAQ 2.07).

Hi,
I'm using Windows XP SP2. And the reason why it didn't work was DEP.
Thank you :)
Greets,
Chris
