I noticed that interix make adjustments for daylight saving irrespective of the settings in WINDOWS. This is a big big problem.
Is there any workaround for this ????

Interix uses the defacto UNIX std timezone database.
(see /usr/share/zoneinfo).
If you want to override this, then create your own TZ environment variable
that specifies the details you want. Like no daylight savings time.
For instructions on how to specify the value of TZ, see the tzset man page
(eg. "man tzset" )
