Hello,
I’m trying to add the Interix packages to my Vista SUA. The problem is that the package manager wants to use version 6.0 as the baseline in its path. Obviously, Interix packages are 3.5!
I believe this info is being parsed from the UNAME value. Is this correct? How would I get SUA on Vista to ‘spoof’ being version 3.5?
Is this really the issue? Can I force PKG to install from the 3.5 tree?
Thanks!

I've made a "6.0-x86" link for right now. That'll cover a lot of the systems.

Thanks! I am a beta tester... ;-)
% uname -m
x86
% uname -a
Interix delbocavista 6.0 SP-6.0.5381.0 x86 Intel_x86_Family6_Model13_Stepping8
It does look like your symlink for 6.0-x86 cures my error.

FYI:
% pkg_update -a
Gathering installed package information...
Updating from location 'ftp://ftp.interopsystems.com/pkgs/6.0-x86': okay? [y] y
Starting checks for updates
Thanks!
