I can't seem to update to the latest pkg. I get the errors
listed below.
Had no problem updating the chmod package though.
Is there a filename problem or something on my end?
Using pkg 2.5.4
=== BEGIN ===
06/07/06 15:58:40 ~ $ pkg_update -L pkg
Starting checks for updates
.
gzip: stdin: unexpected end of file
tar: End of archive volume 1 reached
tar: Sorry, unable to determine archive format.
pkg_add(pkg-2.6.1-bin): URL `ftp://ftp.interopsystems.com/pkgs/3.5-x86/pkg-2.6.1
-bin.tgz' has unknown filename part!
pkg_add(pkg-2.6.1-bin): unable to fetch `ftp://ftp.interopsystems.com/pkgs/3.5-x
86/pkg-2.6.1-bin.tgz' by URL
pkg_update: Problem updating package. Continuing. : No such file or directory
Done.
=== END ===
Marc

Sorry about the problems.
I got a message early in the day about the problem.
I had a fix, but something was still odd.
So it's still being worked on.

Alright! All is well now for the installer.
For people with a version prior to 2.6 or after 2.6 (e.g. 2.6.1) you can
update the normal way "pkg_update -L pkg" still.
For the folks that have pkg version 2.6 specifically it'll
be a bit different. Looking at the logs there were only a handful
of people who installed 2.6, all on x86. So you can get updated
to the current release (2.6.2 at this posting) using pkg_add
because the problem was only in pkg_update. So do:
"pkg_add ftp://ftp.interopsystems.com/pkgs/3.5-x86/pkg-current-bin.tgz"
Again, sorry to those affected by the problem.
