Hi.
After enabling the SUA feature in the Programs CP on a newly-installed copy of Vista B2 (x64), I'm at a loss as to what to do next. A "Download Utilities ..." link shows up under an SUA entry in the start menu, but it doesn't seem to point to a valid URL ("this download is not available", or something similar.)
Is there anything that can be done (some missing configuration option, or something similar) at my end to install the missing utilities ? Or should I just take the "download not available" error at face value (and hope that it becomes available soon) ?
I hope that this posting is appropriate; thanks in advance for any advice that anyone can offer.

Any update on this? Would really like to get this one working (since cygwin doesn't look like it's going to work on vista in the near future).

Do you know of a workaround eg. a way to install the Win2003 tools?
Unfortunately I have rather a lot of scripts to run and would like to test my app on vista at some point.. It's no biggie but dissapointing that the option is there but doesn't seem to be implemented yet.

Well, certainly anything that has been built on earlier versions of Interix
will run version 6.0 (Vista). The MSI for the 5.2 (R2) release likely has
it specified as an "R2 target only". Though part of the Beta process with
6.0 is to test what will be shipped. And that includes the utility updates
that your scripts will depended on. It's great that you're enthusiastic to do this.

The SDK is now live on the web. You can donwload it from http://www.microsoft.com/downloads/details.aspx?FamilyID=93ff2201-325e-487f-a398-efde5758c47f&DisplayLang=en.
