So many problems I have been having running a program with X11R6,used to run with X11R5
Finally I found a new books tells me what is new in X11R6
XtAppInitialize have been superseded by XtOpenApplication and XtVaOpenApplication in X11R6. My program has XtAppInitialize() in the main program. I will read little more on this and change this statement to XtOpenApplication() or XtVaOpenApplication(). And see what happens.
Question is if we still use XtAppInitialize with X11R6 what happens?

I found a solution.
The changes I needed to make to run this program under SFU-Interix-X11R6 and Motif v2.2.2 were very small changes. How ever, when I made those changes and recompiled the program it had so many runtime errors.
Finaly I found a way to get around of this dillemma. After I made the changes, I compiled the program on the computer I still had the original Interix-X11R5 libraries and transfered the executable files to my new computer.
Now everything seems to be working well.
The programs written with Interix-X11R5 and Motif libraries could run (as long as there is no windows comand line program calling- crossing between UNIX and DOS) under SFU- and new Motif library.
