Scenario: Windows 2003 server in a domain, SFU 3.5, sudo 1.6.8p8
- Server did not have connectivity to the domain at bootup, but does now
- Telnet to the server using a domain account and log in successfully
- I try "sudo -u UserAccount ls" and I get an error:
setreuid(ROOT_UID, user_uid): Network is down
Any thoughts?
Thanks in advance.

It's not sudo per se.
It's the underlying API calls (or rather the API's they call in turn).
A token gets constructed based on information from the LSA.
It seems that the LSA is not providing all of the information it should.
The LSA does cache information for those times connectivitiy to the DC is out.
But it doesn't cache everything and not for all users.
