I am using SFU3.5 on the Windows2000 server. Please teach about $$psxjunk.
1) Can $$psxjunk be moved to another folder somewhere? (for instance, C\SFU\$$psxjunk)
2) How much does the size of the file become in the maximum? I plan to use the area up to 4GB in SFU directory.

Thanks for your help.

This is a directory that is used to provide behavior on unlinked files that
matches Unix behavior. It does not grow to a large size. It's an interm location
that allows for a file to continue to exist for processes taht have current file
handles to it, without it being see or being accessible to processes that do
not have any open file handles to it. When the last close happens on the file it
goes away.

No. Leave it where it is. There is a potential for one per filesystem. And it's needed
per filesystem. Just leave it.

It's not a file it's a directory.
The amount of space you are going to use is a function of how big the disk is.
The $$psxjunk content size never really grows to anything because most processes don't
keep the file handle open for a really long period of time after the file is unlinked.
If there is a file hanging around, then it's in use and you don't want to mess things up.
