I'm pretty new to SFU so bear with me.
I just obtained the lastest DDD.
When I attempt to run ddd I get the the following error.
% ddd
Error: Can't open display: localhost:0.0
being a Solaris/Linux type I tried 'xhost +' thinking maybe it
was some sort of permission
problem, but xhost gives the exact same error.
% xhost +
xhost: unable to open display "localhost:0.0"
So what am I dong wrong??

Did you install an X-server? SFU does not include one (see FAQ 2.04)

No X-server, Well that's a bummer.
That explains it.
Thanks

I've found that the free X-Deep/32 server works well. It's not supported and will probably not be upgraded, but the price is right.
