Using SFU3.5 that comes with Windows Storage Srv R2.
Created a test share on the W2003, 'case sensitive filename lookups' under 'NFS Server' 'Filename Hnadling' box is checked.
I now mount the share with no problems on my Linux box, I create file named 'test' and then try and create another file named 'TEST' - I was expecting 2 files to be created, just as per Linux, but it doesn't do this - is there a simple solution for this?

Just to be clear: it's not SFU 3.5 on W2K3/R2. At R2 most of
the components that made up SFU are included as part of the base OS.
Your using just the NFS client by the sounds of it.
Win32 has a "case preserving" orientation within its world.
The NFS client "Case sensitive filename lookup" is going to be
doing just that and only just that. It's not going to be doing
"case sensitive filesystem" or "case sensitive file/directory creation".
If you use the SUA (Interix) component then you can do Case Sensitive
Filesystem lookups, creation, etc. as on a regular Unix system.

Point taken.
So, if I have a heap of data created on a Linux server which has filenames such as 'TEST' and test' and then trasnefer it to a Windows server running SFU, the only way to look them up is to use the SUA (Interix)component - users would not be able to lookup using Linux PCs?
