I want to install Identity Management for UNIX - Password Synchronisation on
an UNIX-based Computer. I should copy the appropriate source binary files
from \Unix\Bins on Windows Server 2003 R2 CD or DVD-ROM but there are not
such files nor such directories Unix and Bins on the CD's.
We have 4 CD's Windows Server 2003 R2 Enterprise Edition.
Where can I find the appropriate files?

These (and others) are part of the base OS.
To install them you use the Add/Remove Programs
panel and choose the "Add/Remove Windows Components"
icon. Then you will get a list of components to add
which include Identidy Management, SUA, etc.

We have already installed "Identity Management" within "Add/Remove Windows
Components" on the WINDOWS server. But there are no UNIX files on this server.
I need the UNIX file pam_sso.aix. This file is not to find on the WINDOWS
server nor on the CD's.
There are a Microsoft online documentation "Windows Server 2003 R2, Step-by-
Step Guide to Deploying Password Synchronization". On page 16 we can read the
sentence "1. Copy pam_sso.aix from \Unix\Bins on the Windows Server 2003 R2
product CD or DVD-ROM to /usr/lib/ on the UNIX computer, and change its name
to pam_sso.aix.1." This sentence is wrong.

Did you ever find a solution for this? I am having the exact same problem, reading the docs at Microsoft and cannot find this pam_sso.aix file anywhere on the R2 discs or on the Server.

I can suggest a workaround.
If you download the SFU 3.5 CD (it's a free download) and then
run it to unzip itself the directories get laid out. The doc's
mentioned before refer to this directory structure. You can find
the PAM stuff there. I doubt it changed much (if any) from 3.5
to R2.

Does anyone have the SFU3.5 CD that can zip up the pam_sso.aix file? I say this because when you go to download the SFU 3.5 CD from Microsoft it says page cannot be found.
Thanks
