Porting Assistance Interop Systems has assembled a team of individuals with many years of experience porting UNIX applications to the Windows platform using Interix. These "practitioners" have agreed to make some of their time available to help others overcome the apparent obstacles that occur. Porting an application to Interix can be as straight-forward as porting to any other flavor of UNIX... but not always! Because porting a major application can get complex very fast, you may wish to take advantage of the experience of others who have faced the challenge before you. The service we offer is simple and follows a "pay as you go" philosophy. Instead of trying to sell you a subscription to services you may not need, we invite you to describe your situation via email to and we will respond with the quick answer if there is one, or we will provide an estimate of time it might take to investigate it further. Under the Porting Service you then pay for the time it takes for experts to provide the assistance you need -- whether it is half an hour or half a day. Our rates are reasonable, given the specialized nature of the work and the cost of your time. ($150 per hour -- half hour minimum). So let us know if you are running into an apparent show-stopper. Chance are, one of our specialists has "been there, done that" before you!
